Located east of the Princes Highway, the event can be accessed from the intersection at Heathcote Rd and Princes Highway (next to McDonalds). Head east over the bridge, then follow the road south for one kilometre. There is extensive off-road parking for motorcycles. The large AFL field has plenty of room for the many stalls, displays and activities.
The three hour event aims to provide the environment and opportunity for relevant road safety messages to be communicated to local riders. Engaging local motorcycle clubs, retailers and representative groups to manage and present the agenda, Breakfast Torque is seen by the local riding fraternity as a motorcycling event for riders, by riders.
The activities commences at 8am with breakfast for riders.
The “on-stage” program consists of a number of presentations including:
- a showcase of the latest safety gear, presented by the Motorcycle Council of NSW
- the latest motorcycling road safety initiatives,
- a simulated crash scene with commentary involving stunt rider, Paramedics and Police
Each year 30-40 stalls and displays are on-site, including those from motorcycle dealers, manufacturers, clubs, and accessory retailers as well as other motorcycling businesses.
The morning concludes with a prize draw, supplied by the sponsors attending. Over 1,100 riders attended Breakfast Torque each year.
