Hornee jeans is an Australian company, based in Sydney. After almost 15 years on their bikes, two riders decided they needed an alternative to leathers and ordinary jeans. And it had to look good. What was needed was something with the added protection that leathers offer, but with the fashion of designer jeans. Something they wanted to wear, not just something they should wear.

Industry participation

The gear showcase: After teaching new riders why they should don protective gear, we would like to show them styles from a range of suppliers so that they can see, feel, touch and try on jackets, gloves and pants etc. This will be a non-partisan showcase of goods from any Australian distributor/ manufacturer who wants to be included. We just want new scooterists to start wearing gloves - we don't care whose gloves they wear.

We will not be selling products or endorsing any one brand over another.

If a distributor/ manufacturer wants to donate products to give away (separate from the showcase) then we will accept the goods and distribute them to participants in whatever manner we see fit.

If the host scooter dealer wants to put on a sale for the participants, that is up to them and will not be restricted in any way. If you are happy with these arrangements then we would like you to contribute some samples of your protective clothing to our "goodies box". Goods should be tailored to the scooter commuter - no knee-sliders please.
